Vesica works when people feel safe turning up. These are the few rules that make that possible.

Be real

• Use your real first name and a photo of yourself.
• You must be 18 or older.

Be kind

• No harassment, bullying, threats or hate, including about someone’s race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or age.
• If someone isn’t interested in chatting, let it go.

Keep it friendship

• Vesica isn’t for dating or hook-ups. No flirting in group chats, no unwanted advances, no sexual content.

Keep it honest

• No scams, spam, selling or promotion.
• Host plans you actually intend to go to. If you can’t make it, cancel so others know.

Keep it safe

• Meet in public places.
• Don’t share other people’s personal details.
• Nothing illegal, and no pressuring anyone into anything.

If something’s wrong

Tap a person’s name in any chat to block or report them. Blocking hides them from you straight away. We review every report, and accounts that break these rules can be removed. In an emergency, call 000.
